I stand accused! My crime? That of being young! And I am one of those millions of young boys and girls, who today, are accused before the bar of public opinion for being rebellious, defiant and radical.
I dare say, I’m guilty as charged!
I am outraged at how the old run this government! I am so disgusted with the old’s pretentious efforts to rid the government of corruption, their battle-cry during campaign elections, when they themselves are the people we should get rid of if said efforts are to succeed. I am appalled by the old’s callousness in clinging to power – delicadeza, morals and ethics be damned.
If protesting against these evils the old do means being rebellious, defiant and radical – I’m glad to be guilty as charged!
And until this government becomes a government of honesty and morality and a government that simply does the right things, I will remain.
